By accessing or using KanoonMasr (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Service Description

KanoonMasr provides AI-powered legal research, drafting, and compliance tools focused on Egyptian law. The Service is designed to assist legal professionals and does not constitute legal advice. Users are responsible for independently verifying all outputs before relying on them in legal matters.

3. User Obligations

• You must provide accurate account information and maintain the security of your credentials.
• You must not use the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of any applicable regulations.
• You are responsible for all content you upload and must ensure you have the right to share it.
• You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract models or algorithms from the Service.

4. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content and documents you upload to the Service. KanoonMasr retains ownership of the platform, algorithms, and underlying technology. Outputs generated by the Service are provided for your use but do not transfer ownership of the underlying models or technology.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

KanoonMasr uses artificial intelligence to generate responses, drafts, and analyses. While we strive for accuracy and ground outputs in verified legal sources, AI-generated content may contain errors or omissions. The Service provides information, not legal advice. Always consult a qualified legal professional before making legal decisions based on AI-generated content.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KanoonMasr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service during the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or our usage policies. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.

8. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cairo, Egypt.
